Description Notes

Brass; claw foot with two uprights to large rectangular limb; rotating mechanical stage; oxidised brass fittings for stage forceps etc.; swinging plano/concave mirror on jointed arm; triangular racked column with large knurled coarse focus screws either side of the instrument; bar limb with fine focus screw on top of the bar; body: push fit with notched socket; screw fit objective; draw tube; push fit eyepiece ‘A’ and field lens; eye shade.
Fitted wooden box; spare eye piece ‘C’; rotating diaphragm; ground glass disc; various eyepieces (not part of instrument ) including camera lucida, prismatic eyepiece and 3 others; polarising eye piece.
