1841.1 six-component objective, each component numbered; in wooden case lined with purple velvet and with felt on underside; brass hinge and hook fastener.
1841.2 six-component objective.
1841.3 seven-component objective.
1841.4 six-component objective.
1841.5 [magnifying lens], numbered 814.
1841.6 two objectives with screw caps.
1841.7 two objectives.
1841.8 two-component objective in round wooden case lined with cotton wool.
1841.9 object/ive in [wooden] mount, inscribed ‘Craig’s lens Pat’d Feby 1862’.
1841.10 three-component objective and mount in brass case with screw-fit top, numbered ‘2’ on lid.
1841.11 objective with mount, in brass case with screw-fit top (which also screws to mount), signed ‘G. Smith late Smith & Beck’ on cap.
1841.12 two-part objective by Zeiss in brass case with screw-fit top. Signed on lens ‘C. ZEISS JENA’; lens also inscribed ‘12.0mm 0.18 Apert. 0.65 Tubusl. 250mm’; case lid inscribed ‘Apochromat 12.0mm Apert. 0.65’. Base of case inscribed’12.0’.
1841.13 three-part objective with adjustment collar, numbered 029, and Lieberkuhn all by Smith & Beck. In brass case with screw-fit cap inscribed ‘Smith & Beck 6 Coleman St. London’.
Condition good (case of 1841.13 fair); incomplete (1841.1 missing)
