Description Notes
Wooden case covered with black leather; push-fit lid; containing five instruments and four alternative points comprising
1. Brass sector; obverse divided ‘Les Cordes’ [0] - 180˚; ‘les solides’ 1 - 60; ‘les metaux’; and along the extended limb ‘poids de bouletz’ 1/4 - 64. Verso divided ‘les parties Egalles’ [0] - 200; ‘les plans’ 1 - [65]; ‘les poligone’ 3 - 12 and along the extended limb ‘calibre des piece’ 1/4 - 48.
2. Ebony rule with bevelled edge.
3. Brass compasses with long hinge joint and inset steel points; one detachable with accessories comprising dotting pen, hinged pencil point; crude steel ink point and an extending limb.
4. Brass ink point.
5. Brass tool with open shaft and steel points with flattened ‘leaf’ shaped ends.
Condition: fair; complete.
