Description Notes

Green shagreen (rayskin) and silver clip case with ivory scale and silver compass point with alternative attachments. Ivory rule divided in whole inches, 1/2, 1/4 and 3/4 inches with scale of chords [0] - 90˚, by 10˚ to 1˚. Verso with diagonal scale dividing 1/4 inches into 1/100s.
Silver compass with long hinge joint and steel tip socket for attachment to silver hinged pencil bows (pencil point missing) and steel compass point (ink bow (?)) (? not part of original set).
(One piece stuck in case (no piece stuck in case; 2-2-2000), other piece missing?).

Condition: fair; incomplete (one piece missing).
