Description Notes

Brass beam with open box beam ends, steel centre knife and end knives. Hooks to brass pans and cords; steel index. Brass pillar screws into box lid with extension rod; knurled screw clamps ‘T’ piece to rod with pulley and clamps for beam suspension unit.
Steel two-part ‘U’ shaped centre bearing with weight below and vertical above to ivory circle where fixed index meets beam index. Hinged arm fits onto rod and arrests beam by touching weight.
Knurled screw in box lid lifts beam via pulley. 4 small brass pans; ivory scoop and small brush.
All fit into box of solid wood with shapes carved out of it.
