Description Notes

Black finish with brass body and screws; kettledrum foot; pivoting body with bar support for instrument when in horizontal position; ‘Nelson Horseshoe’ shape stage; fittings for stage clips; substage mounted on an adjustable swinging arm; condenser with iris diaphragm; swinging plano/concave mirror on a tubular tailpiece; cranked limb coarse focus screws either side of limb; fine focus at the head of the limb (note the changed design of this screw); draw tube divided into cm; push fit eyepiece; triple nosepiece.
