Description Notes

Bar limb microscope; brass; kettle drum tripod base with cork shoes; tubular limb to rotating fully mechanical stage; swinging plano-concave mirror; triangular racked column with large knurled screws either side of instrument operating coarse focus; fine focus by knurled screw on side of bar - limb, cone actuated; struts connect to body to the bar limb.
Fitted wooden box; with inner box of accessories: 2 eye pieces with slot on shades; ‘1/2’ ‘inch’; the 3 lathes with push-fit lieberkuhns; rotating diaphragm; stage forceps with steel head; stage condenser rack focussed substage achromatic condenser; 3 dark stops; (several items missing). Spare [stage] live box.
