Description Notes
“Advanced student” model. Horse shoe foot; black finish with brass fittings; single upright to pivoting limb, with a ledge to support the instrument in a horizontal position; circular brass stage with a knurled edge graduated 0- (360) by 10 to 1; substage condenser on swinging arm with lateral screw motion; iris diaphragm; (upper condenser lens not present); polariser on separate arm; flange graduated 0- (360) by 45; swinging plano/concave mirror on a shoe round tubular tailpiece; moulded column to cranked limb; knurled brass coarse focus screws either side of the limb; fine focus screw at the head of the column graduated (0) - 5mm to 0.1; index on the back of the limb; push fit eyepiece; flange round the head of the body; slot in box for Bertrand lens; box in lower part of body for analyser with slot below; covered slot just above triple nose piece; 2 objectives extant.
