Description Notes

Brass horseshoe-type base; brass pillar with compass joint to horizontal bar; square sectioned, racked bar parallel to pillar carries stage, with pin through base of bar to secure it in vertical position; knurled screw moves stage; spring clips and pivoted substage mounting [for condenser]; swinging plano/concave mirror on shoe; body parallel to horizontal bar with draw tube and diagonal eyepiece; push-fit prism mount slots onto objective mount, which is fixed to the horizontal bar. Screw-fit 3-part compound objective.
Body swings away from objective [for second observer].
