Description Notes
Brass with steel scales; a hexagonal clamp with two knurled brass screws attaches stage to stand; 2 knurled brass screws operate horizontal and vertical movement; divided 0-60 by 10 to 1 mm and by vernier to 1/10 mm and 60-100 by 10 to 1 mm and by vernier to 1/10 mm. Steel clips, one sprung hold slide in position.
Fitted wooden box lined with red velvet and covered with leather stamped ‘E.Leitz, Wetzlar’.
