Description Notes
Brass level for surveying by Troughton and Simms, 1846. Brass throughout. 2 parts. Part One is the telescope with a rack and pinnion focussing moving eyepiece. Bubble mounted over telescope. Graduated in 1/10”. Hinged mirror over bubble. Transverse bubble over the objective. Ray shade. Part two Base screws into telescope support. 3 foot screws between parallel plates. Axis clamp. Azimuth motion tangent screw.
