Description Notes
Black finish with brass screws and fittings; kettledrum/claw foot; 2 uprights to pivoting limb; square brass stage with central aperture; substage condenser with iris diaphragm on racked shoe with swinging plano/concave mirror below; moulded column to cranked limb; pair of knurled brass screws either side of limb operate coarse focus; fine focus screw at head of column; push fit eyepiece marked ‘2’; triple nose piece with 3 objectives 1/6” 1/12” and 2/3” all signed by Swift.
