Brass; rectangular sectioned racked pillar screws into lid of box; compass joint; swinging concave mirror in base, knurled screw moves square stage with clips; arm at head of pillar with rack and knurled screw; body with tapered snout and field lens; screw fit eyepiece; screw-fit collar with second ‘field’ lens; 4 objectives ‘1-4’, 2 lieberkuhns; 1 lieberkuhn objective; live box slides; black and white ground; tweezers, 1 6-object ivory slides; black and white ground; tweezers 1 6-object opaque slide; knife with ivory handle; lancet with tortoiseshell guard; fitted wooden box with lift out tray lined with blue velvet.
