Description Notes

Brass; claw-foot; pair of uprights to square sectioned limb; tabular tail piece with swinging concave mirror; rectangular stage with oxidised sliding bar; revolving alternative aperture plate substage; focus by double pinion on rack and fine focus by knurled copper screw at head of limb; horizontal bar with threaded aperture for body. Collar with draw tube containing field lens and screw fit eye piece. (objective missing) objective case marked ‘1 in/M. Pillischer/London’; brass tweezers.
Walnut box with carrying handle.
