Description Notes
‘Lapidex’; black finish with steel/aluminium screws and knurled rings; modified horseshoe foot; 2 uprights to pivoted joint; circular stage with knurled graduated edge 0 - (360) by 10 to 1 with index; top stage, brass with black finish width slot for slider containing condenser and aperture; polariser substage, divided 0- (360) by 45; swings away from the optic axis; swinging mirror push fits into socket on the base of the limb; arched limb; knurled steel coarse and fine focus screws; push fit eyepiece; triple nosepiece (no objectives). Analyser in steel box slides in and out of the optic axis through the lower end of the body tube.
Fitted wooden box.
