Oxidised brass; claw-footed base; pair of uprights pivoted to square stage with circular aperture and 2 spring clips which locate in holes at each corner; tailpiece with swinging double plane/concave mirror on sliding limb; square limb with shoe attachment for body casing; spring of unknown function; fine adjustment screw; push-fit brass body; 3 push-fit objectives; 2 push-fit eyepieces combined with field lens; [live] trough fits into stage aperture; glass slides.
Fitted wooden box.
