Description Notes

Lower bulb for mercury weight, central elongated bulb topped by tube containing paper scale divided 30 - [94] numbered by 5 subdivided to 1 and also [17] - [39.5] numbered by 2 subdivided to 0.5. Scale attached to inside of tube with red sealing wax (?). Green slip case marked ‘G209.’ and lid marked ‘30-95 / C / no. 1/8’ (accession register says that case is not original, but has been used for the object for some time).
