Description Notes

Steel beam and fittings; swan’s neck ends. Self-locating steel knife edge and ring bearing; index over with gallows with ring bearing; hook and tassel; two circular brass pans with cords and hooks. Circles marked on pans. Wooden box; lined with velvet and silk (just velvet; 25-1-2000) and covered with black shagreen; hook fasteners (do not fasten). Two sections for weights; 3 extant (? original) for 21s, 13s 6d, 5s 3d; denominations marked on weights.
Remnants of paper glued into lid; 25-1-2000.

Condition: fair.
