Description Notes

Steel beam and fittings; swan’s neck ends; self-locating knife edge and ring bearing. Index over; steel gallows with ring bearing, hook and tassel. Two circular brass pans with cords. Circles marked on pans. Cords bound with gold thread near hooks.
Fitted wooden box lined with velvet and silk; covered with imitation shagreen; clip fastening. Two sections for weights; 5 weights (? original) for 21s, 18s, 13s 6d, 10s 6d, 5s 3d; denominations marked on coins.

Condition: good.
