Description Notes

Brass; stands on base of compass box; silvered compass rose with 8 cardinal points divided [0]-[90]-[0] twice by 20 to 2o; blued steel needle; silvered latitude arc divided 60-0 by 10 to 1; silvered hour circle divided IIII-XII and I-VIII by 1 to 5’; folding brass gnomon.
Wooden case lined with purple velvet and covered in morocco leather.

Condition: good; complete.
