Description Notes
Steel beam and fittings; double-O beam ends; self-locating knife edge and ring bearing. Index over; gallows with ring bearing. Two circular brass pans with suspension cords. Fitted wooden box with rounded ends. Fitted nest of weights, 4 extant cups for 4, 2, 1 (stamped on edges), and 1/2 gros (one missing). Slot with sliding lid for fractional weights; 4 extant; all stamped with denomination.
Label on box lid giving value of various European coins. Box with hook fastenings.
Condition: fair (rusty); incomplete (weight missing).
