Description Notes
Brass base plate with rounded corners. Central steel standard; steel beam with self-locating knife edge and ring bearing; sliding brass weight - 2 positions (sovereign and 1/2 sovereign). Box beam end with hook and crescent shaped coin plate. Brass plate below beam on hinged standard with steel spring clip: clamps beam in place when not in use. Pivoted brass coin gauge for both coins. Hinged wooden case with hook fastenings, lined with pink silk.
Condition: good/fair; complete.
