Description Notes

Steel beam and fittings; double-O beam ends, self-locating knife edge and ring bearings; index broken in half; gallows with ring bearing and ring. (All rusted badly). Two circular brass pans with suspension cords.
Fitted wooden box with rounded ends; box fitted for nest of weights (missing) and slot with lid for fractional weights - 8 extant (9 extant; 26-1-2000), all stamped with denomination. Paper label in lid with values of various European coins. Hook fastenings (broken; 26-1-2000).

Condition: fair; incomplete (weights missing).
