Description Notes

Steel beam and fittings; swan’s neck ends; self-locating steel knife edge and ring bearing. Index above; gallows with ring bearing, hook and tassel. Two circular brass pans with cords.
Fitted wooden box with slots for weights (none extant). Lined with paper. Paper label in lid giving table of weights for ‘Portugal Piece’, ‘Moidore’ and ‘Guinea’. Box decorated with pair of hearts, each inscribed concentrically 5 times.

Condition: good; incomplete (weights missing).
