Description Notes

Steel beam. Swan’s neck beam ends; self-locating knife and ring centre bearing with index pointer above. Steel gallows with ring bearing with brass suspension ring and cord tassel. Brass links to cords and circular brass pans.
Fitted wooden box with 18 brass weights and hinged brass lid for 4 fractional weights. All stamped with denomination and lions rampant.
Denomination painted in red above each slot. Paper label in lid includes the three crowns of the adjuster’s mark.
Hook fastening; hooks (one missing) (both hooks present; 26-1-2000) stamped with concentric circles.

Condition: good; complete.
