Description Notes

Pyramidal shaped box mounted on 2 brass pillars to a wooden stand; stand slides into groove in top of wooden case; brass draw tubes screw to base and carry brass “eye guide”; wooden slide; ground glass slide; sliding cover gives access to these two; large lens at the end of wooden box; brass object holder at opposite end of box; translucent object stage mounted on pillar and plate which slides within brass groove and is controlled by knurled screw and long brass rod; Bonnani type stage; two wooden handled rods control vertical and horizontal movement of stage on a vertical brass plate; brass horizontal bar carries 2 condensers. Drawer fits into base of box; 9 objectives; 9 opaque slides; frog plate; stage forceps; glass tubes and watch glasses; 3 boxwood slides; ivory talc and ring box; brass trough with spring; box of 12 4-object ivory slides numbered “1-12”. 6 loose 4 object ivory slides; brass live slide.
