Description Notes
Battenberg course indicator. Brass circle, marked with 16 compass points and further divided into 64; divided from N 0-90-0-90-0 by 1o. Circle encloses grey metal alloy plate (rotatable) marked with parallel lines, alternately black and red. Secondary ring pivoted at centre has clamping screw on outer circle and is divided 0-16-0 by 1/2, and 0-180-0 by 1o. Three straight brass scales. Two with single cursors, divided 0-15, and pivotted at centre. One hinged, with pointer, cursor with point and divided 0-3 is pivotted at centre of smaller circle. Three brass feet.
