Description Notes

Turned walnut case with screw lid, base threaded (forms knob of walking cane?). Pierced brass dial plate divided IIII - XII, I - VII, numbered by I. Folding gnomon for 50˚ N. Below dial a hand-coloured engraved paper compass card; 8 -point rose with lettered points.
