Description Notes
Brass. Pierced semi-circle graduated 0-180˚ clockwise and anticlockwise. Read by diagonal scale. Slit and window sights at opposite ends of the diameter. Rotating alidade with slit and window sights. Compass mounted centrally within the semicircle. 8 point brass rose. Graduated 0 - 180 - 0˚ in single degrees. Ball below centre of the diameter fits into socket and shaft for attachment to tripod.
Engraved with foliage decoration.
