Description Notes

Brass scale plates. Metal alloy body. Face; two hands (badly rusted). The longer turning over scale of ‘Furlongs’ and ‘Poles’; the shorter turning over scale of ‘miles’. Calibrated I-VIII Furlongs; and poles 0-40 eight times. Miles scale 0-50 subdivided to 1 mile. Eccentric scale for links of a decimal Gunter calibrated 0-100. Hand missing. Behind face system of parallel plates and cog wheels attached to shaft.
