Description Notes
Brass. Pierced semi-circle graduated 0-180˚ clockwise and anti-clockwise in single degrees. Fixed slit and window sights at either end of the diameter. Alidade with vernier plate reading scale to 2’ of arc and slit and window sights. Compass mounted eccentrically in semi-circle. 8 point rose. Silvered scale graduated 0 - 90 - 0˚ twice. Ball below attachment to socket on tripod. Fitted wooden box.
