Description Notes

Oxidised brass barrel. One end is half-glazed, half-closed. A mirror is fitted at the other end and there is a small glazed hole for viewing. Index arm on top of instrument is moved by tangent screw across white metal scale divided [40] - 0 - 40, numbered by 10˚, subdivided to 30´; Vernier gives subdivision to 1´.

Condition fair; complete.
