Description Notes
Steel beam and fittings. Box beam ends; self-locating steel knife-edge and ring bearing with index above; steel gallows with ring bearing and double aperture. Hook and tassel. Two circular brass pans on cords. Box with two sections for weights containing seven 3 scruple weights and three 30 grain (?)weights, engraved with denomination. 4 other assorted brass weights. (?none original). Box with hook fastenings and label in lid (side panel of box missing; 10-2-2000).
Condition: fair (rusty); incomplete ? (original weights missing?).
