Description Notes

Steel beam and bearings; swan’s neck ends; self-locating knife edge and ring bearing; index above; gallows with ring bearing and double aperture below (?no double aperture; 26-1-2000); hook; two circular brass pans with suspension cords. Box with two sections for weights. 4 lozenge-shaped brass weights stamped with denomination and crown. 2 fractional weights (any original (?)). Paper label in lid; hook fastening (catch missing; 26-1-2000).

Condition: fair (pans corroded); incomplete? (weights missing?).
