Description Notes
Nuremburg style; master cup with raised hinge pieces and clasp piece; one turned handle support with aperture (the other and the handle are missing). Lid decorated with incised concentric circles and stamped ‘2’ maker’s mark; French [?] adjuster’s mark, a fleur-de-lys; and ‘DM’ twice. Outside of cup decorated with punched triangles and dots; inside with incised concentric circles. Base of master cup stamped ‘DM’. Six cup weights stamped denominations 16, 8, 4, 2, 1 (loth) and 1/2 (loth) (not calibrated). 3 with ‘W’ and ‘DM’ stamped on top, 3 smaller ones with only ‘W’. All with fleur-de-lys. All decorated with concentric circles.
Condition: fair; incomplete (central weight missing?, handle and support missing).
