Description Notes
Oak base; dial in oxidised metal in the form of a half cylinder set on a universal ball joint, with a combined plumb-bob /latitude arc index, divided 0 - 70˚, numbered by 10˚, divided to 1˚. Paper scale for January to June or June to December, calibrated to allow for the equation of time, and adjustable to 10˚ either side of the standard meridian.
(Scale divided VII-XII, I-V, numbered by I, divided to 10 minutes (June to December). Months named and divided to 10 days; 3-2-2000).
Condition: fair; complete.
