Description Notes

Boxwood rectilinear dial, standing on a pair of cross supports. Hour scale divided IV - XII, I - VIII, numbered by I. For use in latitude 51˚. Hinged for elevation. Calendar scale marked by lettered (shortened names) month. ‘Bead’ provided by ball bearing running on a curved limb which is hinged and set on the calendar scale. Sighting grooves.
