Six glass hydrometrical beads, numbered 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27.
Round wooden box with paper label pasted in lid; felt lining for beads; pushfit lid.
Label appears part of a table from a book (?): ‘beads for proving spirit tested in the most accurate manner the bead will sink to the bottom of the glass, if proof’, then lists details of spirits with the bead number to be used.

Condition good; complete.
