Description Notes

Box for dynameter by Berge (Wh.0399.1), English, c. 1810.

Fitted mahogany box with brass hinges and steel lock. Lined with green worsted. Contains 3 pieces of paper with extracts from Rees’s Cyclopedia (articles on micrometer and dynameter).
