Description Notes

Square-sectioned brass beam with brass collar attached to brass base disc with felt underside. Main beam inscribed with scale divided 90 - 0 - 90, numbered by 10, subdivided to 0.05, vernier reading to 0.005; locking nut for collar. Brass tracing arm discs connected by string with tension adjusting screws. Brass tracing arms with black-painted brass fittings for pencil points; each has scale divided 80 - 0 - 80, numbered by 10, subdivided to 0.05, with vernier to 0.005 on discs. Pulleys and string for lifting drawing point.
Fitted wooden box, partially lined with green felt. Box contains pencils and other accessories. Trade label in lid. Instruction booklet.
