Greyscale printed botanical teaching diagram of bangia, a red algae species. The wallchart consists of 5 separate diagrams numbered and with the following explanation hand written onto the back of the diagram:

1. Erythrotrichia obscura
formation of neutral spore
2. Bangia fusco-purpurea
fertilisation
3. Poriphyria lacinate
fertilised procarps
4. Poriphyria leucostrichta
fertilisation and first division
of young procarp
5. P. Cacinata
Ripe cystocarp with spores.
