Botanical wallchart. Nectaries and hairs on leaf, etc. (Malpighia). Maker Shrubbs.

Hand painted black and white botanical teaching diagram of the leaves and flowers of malpighia an evergreen dwarf shrub. The wallchart consists of three separate diagrams. On the left hand side, one above the other, are diagrams of two different leaf types the larger of which is more rounded compared to the more elongated lower example. The larger round leaf has hairs on it and to the right there is an enlarged diagram of a single hair. In the bottom right hand corner is a diagram of a flower.

The word ‘MALPIGHIA’ is stencilled on to the bottom of the chart.

The paper has been backed onto cloth for support.

Good condition.
