Botanical wallchart showing capsule (spore bearing structure) of the moss genus Polytrichum (order: Polytrichales), showing characteristic hairy calyptra.
Single diagram in colour.
Inscription is stencilled at top centre, largely obscuring an earlier ink inscription, apparently in Henslow’s handwriting.
No other labels.
