Rectangular wooden base; vertical plate carries a platform and a threaded shaft; pivotting round the shaft, on a vertical axis is a further plate with knurled screw clamp at one end; brass shaft on a pivotting semicircle [or block]; Method of operation of the microtome is unknown. Incomplete.
