Description Notes

Extensiometer of white metal (electroplated brass?) construction. Optical tube with push-fit eyepiece marked ‘3 Mikrometer’ and microscope objective by Zeiss. Swivelling mirror directs light at microscope. Metal bar at right-angles to optical tube has a pair of clamps at each end. for securing sample. Fitted mahogany box with brass hinges, lock (no key), and handle.
