Description Notes

Horizontal microscope. Brass microscope with bubble level over. Fixed focus, forward movement by rack and pinion moved by knurled screw. Mounted on pillar stand with two vertical adjustments, one by clamp to steel draw tube the other by rack and pinion motion to inner triangular cross-section rod. Cast tripod base, painted black, with 3 levelling screws and azimuth adjustment by tangent screw moving against spring.
