Description Notes

Horizontal microscope. Brass microscope with bubble level over (not original bubble). Fixed focus, forward movement by rack and pinion moved by knurled screw. Mounted on pillar stand with two vertical adjustments, one by clamp to inner draw tube, the other by inner screw adjusted by horizontal circle divided 0-10, subdivided to 0.1. Cast tripod base, painted black, with 3 levelling screws and azimuth adjustment by tangent screw moving against spring.
