Description Notes
Artillery director adapted as small theodolite. Prismatic sight with vertical arc, silvered scale divided 0-50 by 1o. Horizontal scale divided 0-64, tangent screw with drumhead divided 0-100. 2 bubble levels in grey-painted cast base. Later tribach base with 3 levelling screws. Folding tripod with aluminium mount consisting of two discs, the upper rotating over the lower, with clamping screw, the lower divided 0-360 by 10o. Metal box with shoulder strap.
The sand-coloured paint probably indicates manufacture for the German Army in North Africa.
