Description Notes

Triangular mahogany frame, supported on brass stand - extendable with clamp - and tribach feet with foot screws. Diagonal mirror within triangle; plano-convex lens horizontal over mirror. Set into frame to allow for sliding lens cover (missing). Triangular frame extended in horizontal plane to support brass pillar. Lens and reflecting prism mounted on brass and oxidised brass frame with vertical movement controlled by rack, on pillar, and pinion on frame. Lens slides into circular plate on which the reflecting prism is mounted on hinge, allowing it to revolve. The whole then screws into frame. Pivoting cover for prism.
