Description Notes
2 large leather-covered coils mounted around a U-shaped iron block, which acts as the core of the electromagnet, and is supported on three levelling feet. Fibre case would be set et vertically between the poles of the magnet. Microscope is also missing. Two pairs of brass terminals are connected to coils, and allows coils to be connected either in series or in parallel.
Attached repair label, giving owner as Royal Victoria Hospital, Boscombe; came in for repair 3-6-1953.
Condition poor; incomplete.
